All or Nothing are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Producer to work closely with the Artistic Director as we move into our next phase of development as a Creative Scotland Multi Year Funded Organisation.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to grow the company from project funded to core funded, the first aerial company within Scotland to do this. Encompassing work across all of our strands as well as overseeing the operational management of All or Nothing.
Terms
* Hours: 30 hours in a 37.5 hour working week
* Due to the nature of the role, some weekend and evening working will be required. Hours will be managed in agreement with the company, with time off in lieu to be taken.
* Pension: 3.5% Employers contribution
* Holidays: 28 days per year plus 5 bank holidays
* Term: This is a permanent role
* Notice: 3 months
* Probationary period: 3 months
* Location: Hybrid working is available for this post. Our main office is in Leith, Edinburgh at Out of the Blue Drill Hall and we would expect some time in the office on a weekly basis to coincide with other staff.

Who We Are
All or Nothing is Scotland’s leading aerial dance company, performing, teaching and developing talent. Pioneering aerial arts since 2006, our vision is aerial for all. We seek to embed aerial within the cultural landscape of Scotland as an art form that is accessible to people from all backgrounds.
We are now entering the next phase of company development in having long term core funding through Creative Scotland’s multi-year funding. We have an exciting few years ahead developing and growing our creative work as well as our audiences and participants, and opportunities for aerial artists in Scotland including establishing Scotland’s first aerial performance ensemble.
The Role
The Producer will work closely with the Artistic Director, supporting the company programmes and overall operational management from short term projects to long term development and strategy. This role is ideal for a candidate who loves to work in a busy environment, bringing projects from their inception to fruition whilst ensuring the smooth running of the overall company.
Representing the organisation, we are seeking someone who is interested in nurturing existing relationships, building new partnerships and collaborations both in Scotland and further afield.
The Executive Producer will report to the Artistic Director and Board of Trustees, and will be responsible for line managing the non-creative staff.
Key Activities/Responsibilities
This is a new role and the details of the role, along with what support will be required to fulfill the role’s potential will be discussed and developed with the successful candidate.
Artistic projects
* Working with the Artistic Director on the generation, planning and delivery of the artistic and professional development programmes
* Developing relationships and working with the freelance tour booker on promoting and securing opportunities for All or Nothing’s artistic work
* Overseeing and negotiating contracting for the company
* Confirming logistics for projects and tours, supported in this by the Admin Officer
* Working with the Artistic Director, Engagement Manager and associated freelance staff on project evaluation. This will include undertaking some gathering of feedback and data, and the writing of reports.
Engagement
* Working closely with the Engagement Manager and Artistic Director on the generation, planning and delivery of the engagement programme
* Overseeing the management and administration of the recreational class programme and outreach projects
* Ongoing evaluation and monitoring of participatory activity
Communications, Partnerships and Fundraising
* Supporting the Artistic Director on maintaining the public image of the company including implementing a communications strategy across the organisation
* Representing All or Nothing at external meetings and events.
* Line Managing the Marketing Officer (to be recruited), overseeing the company’s communications work including PR, social media, internal and external communications, digital and print.
* Leading the company’s fundraising work, working closely with the Artistic Director and freelance fundraising consultant, contributing to applications as required.
* Developing new partnerships and nurturing existing relationships including artistic, community and funding relationships.
* Managing the company budgets
* Supporting the Artistic Director and other team members on identifying and contracting the most appropriate suppliers
* Line managing the freelance finance officer
* Overseeing the payroll, invoicing and bookkeeping
* Producing the regular management accounts and working with the external examiner on the annual published accounts
Operations / Personnel
* Undertaking coordination of HR and staffing, with support from the Artistic Director
* Monitoring the implementation of all company policies across the company’s work, including (but not limited to) Health & Safety, Fair Work and Safeguarding.
* Ensuring we are working towards our environmental targets and working closely with the Marketing Officer on this
* Developing and implementing our EDI Action Plan
* Working closely with the Artistic Director, ensuring that any issues relating to company policies are acted upon.
Governance
* Reporting to the Board as and when required
* Supporting Board activities
* Working with the Board and Artistic Director to ensure legal compliance throughout the company’s work
* Undertaking all required company reporting including to Companies House, OSCR and HMRC. Working with the Board and Artistic Director to ensure that all company policies are up to date and appropriate
About You
We would love that the right person has the following:
* Excellent knowledge of the arts and/or events sectors
* Proven track record of producing artistic projects and company management
* Day-to-day operational and project management skills
* Ability and experience in financial procedures and budget management
* Strong and effective communication skills
* Managing relationships with current and potential partners

* Wide range of contacts across the arts and event industries
