Noble Legal are partnered with a fantastic renewable energy company focused on developing sustainable energy across the UK. The company are looking for a Head of Legal to join their ambitious team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to be part of a dynamic, collaborative legal team, playing a key role in supporting the business strategic objectives. Your main focus will be leading the Corporate Legal team, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services across the business. Alongside this, you'll manage a diverse and engaging caseload.
You will lead the Corporate Legal team, overseeing complex M&A, debt, and equity deals, while managing a variety of corporate and commercial matters. Responsibilities include negotiating terms, drafting legal documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing external counsel.
You'll also manage and support your team, ensuring efficient workflow and professional development. Collaboration with key stakeholders and ensuring legal transactions are completed on time and within budget is critical. Additionally, you'll contribute to strategic decisions, manage legal risks, and streamline internal legal processes.
You will need to be:
* A qualified senior lawyer eligible to practice in England and Wales, (8+ PQE)
* Experienced in both in-house and private practice.
* Expertise in handling complex and high-value commercial or corporate contracts is essential, particularly in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity structuring
* Banking law would be a strong advantage, lending and security arrangements.
* Experienced in managing a team.
