The Role
As a Project Planner, you’ll be responsible for developing and successfully delivering a detailed integrated schedule to time, quality and cost, achieving customer satisfaction and internal targets, creating baselines and having excellent knowledge of baseline management.
Day-to-day as a Project Planner, you’ll:
* Develop and successfully deliver a detailed integrated schedule.
* Create baselines and manage baseline.
* Consistently analyze schedule data to inform project team of risks & opportunities.
* Use specific techniques for performing measurement such as EVM, S-Curve, variance analysis, lookahead reporting.
* Help build the function & tool maturity by creating/delivering working processes and sharing good practice.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home. However, you may be required to be onsite for longer periods of time if the project demands.
Essential Experience of the Project Planner
* Proficient in the use of project scheduling software, especially Primavera P6, with a basic knowledge of Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).
* Excellent analytical and planning skills.
* Relevant experience in a similar role & environment.
* Experience creating, maintaining, and working in accordance with related Governance artefacts (Project Management Plans, Schedule Management Plans).
* The ability to help mature the function & tool set with a standard approach attitude to simplify the way we work.
Qualifications for the Project Planner
* Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
