Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care staff.
Ensure the unit operates efficiently with high standards of care.
Conduct clinical audits and implement service improvements.
Develop and review individual care plans collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Monitor the quality of clinical care and take corrective action as needed.
Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and CQC standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment through risk assessments and health & safety training.
Foster positive relationships with residents and families, addressing concerns promptly.
Encourage resident involvement in care planning and decision-making.
Participate in quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Extensive experience in a care setting, with management or supervisory exposure
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
In-depth understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and healthcare compliance
Relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care)
Desirable: Qualifications in leadership or management
Up-to-date mandatory training (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling, Safeguarding)
Commitment to continuous improvement, empathy, and inclusive values
Good physical and emotional stamina to meet the demands of the role
