Role
Responsibilities
* Process and manage constituent casework, acknowledging receipt of enquiries, gathering relevant information, and corresponding with government departments and agencies as required.
* Analyse patterns of enquiries and produce reports to inform ongoing work.
* Draft responses to constituents and ensure all cases are dealt with promptly, sensitively, confidentially, and in line with the MP's policies.
* Log and monitor all cases, ensuring that progress is tracked and actions are completed.
* Manage relationships with constituents, including handling sensitive cases with care and discretion.
* Ensure all records are kept confidentially and managed in accordance with data protection legislation.
* Follow up on social media queries and comments to provide timely responses.
* Assist with surgeries and other meetings, providing follow-up support as necessary.

This is an exciting role with lots of variation in responsibilities and is critical in helping bureaux to deliver specialised support services for people across Scotland. To be successful, you must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, be proactive and conscientious, and able to work both independently and as part of a large team.
Please note that there is a requirement for some 8am starts and occasional weekend working to cover the operational hours of the Pension Wise project.

Workplace type: Hybrid working. You will be required to work a minimum of 1 day per week in the office. This is a minimum, but you may opt to be office based up to 5 days per week.
