These posts are based within the Community Wellbeing Team at various locations throughout Neath Port Talbot
Neath Port Talbot Council is looking for kind & caring people to join its Community Wellbeing Team. We are actively seeking dedicated and trustworthy individuals who are passionate about the wellbeing of vulnerable people in Neath Port Talbot Borough.
Community Wellbeing Team Support Workers are responsible for providing support to individuals in their own homes to help them to remain as independent as possible. This may include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and helping with medication.
Are you interested in helping to support our individuals who have become unwell or lost their skills and confidence for living independently? Are you able to provide a high standard of personal care, prepare meals and help with medication to support them in their own home?
Do you want great support in the workplace to help you deliver and achieve outcomes for individuals by following programmes of therapy and care?
If so, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience is desirable, however most importantly we want you to have a passion for supporting our individuals who receive this care & support.
We can provide you with training and will help you work towards a Level 2 qualification in Care. If you already have this qualification, we would love to hear from you. We will also help you register as a Domiciliary Care Worker with Social Care Wales.
You need to be caring, empathetic and able to travel extensively within the County Borough area.
