ROLE SUMMARY This role has UK scope with additional alignment with the Global Tender & Contracts team. The role is accountable for collaborating internally and externally (with customers and stakeholder partners) to identify, secure and manage contracts and tenders for the entire PGB portfolio. The role provides subject matter expertise on the operational processes and approaches required by our customers to ensure patient access to our medicines. This role is also a critical partner to the organisation in terms of leveraging the SME to drive innovative approaches to meet the needs of our portfolio and changing external landscape. Key Accountabilities Maintain the UK Tenders & Contracts Platform as a Centre of Excellence for Internal and External Stakeholders Manage all Tendering & Contracting across One Pfizer Manage the lifecycle of all tenders & contracts from identification to submission, award and optimisation Act as SME for internal stakeholders leading on all tender submissions & contracts to ensure commercial advantage is maximised. Build & maintain external stakeholder relationships across the procurement landscape, i.e. NHS England, National Services Scotland, NHS Wales Procurement, HSC Northern Ireland. Support the Contracts & Tenders Director and Contracts and Commercial Contracts Senior Manager to uphold the role of the UK as Centre of Excellence for tendering & contracting with the Global Tenders Team & Pfizer UK. Sharing best practice and proactively driving innovation and efficiencies within the tender & contracting process. Aid the delivery of the One Pfizer Tendering and Contracting strategy, working closely with the One Pfizer Tender Community across the business to ensure customer insights, external stakeholder requirements and internal commercial strategies are aligned. Tender & Contract Implementation When a Tender or Contract has been secured it is the role of the Commercial Contracts Manager to provide the necessary information to aid accurate implementation and monitoring e.g. pricing, tracking requirements, regular reporting requirements, rebate schedules, etc. Provide timely, clear instructions and transition critical information required to operationalize contracts to the Commercial Contract Implementation Executives (CCIE); In collaboration with the CCIE, regularly review implementation to ensure contractual obligations are maintained by all parties Where required, engage support to address noncompliance or escalate for action/decision Commercial Arrangements & Renewals Proactively manage all Third Party Customer Pricing & Contracts across One Pfizer Proactively scheduling timelines for review and renewal to meet customer and commercial requirements Private sector – securing current – implementation new Compounding – supporting new and existing agreements Supporting the businesses to set up Individual Pricing Agreements where required Provide expertise during the decision-making process on commercial projects, including the legalities/feasibility of commercial offers, to ensure compliance.
