Main duties of the job
As a Senior Respiratory Physiologist, you will:
* Perform respiratory investigations, including lung function tests, in an outpatient setting
* Step in as Deputy for the Lead Physiologist when required, managing staff allocations based on departmental needs
* Mentor and train junior staff to help them grow in their roles
* Assist in maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory standards
* Ensure that patient experience and well-being are always prioritized

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Be a trained physiologist with a degree level qualification or equivalent
* ARTP Part 2 certification
* RCCP registration
Experience
* Be experienced in performing various respiratory assessments, such as Spirometry, lung volumes, helium dilution, and Plethysmography
* Hold an ARTP Part 1 certification
* Be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
