Job Purpose: Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, this role will be responsible for planning and allocating resources to enable field teams to understand their specific scopes of work each day. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders, project managers, clients, contractors, and field teams to shape, create, maintain, and deliver operational plans and solutions, while ensuring alignment with overall Cyberhawk culture, goals, and strategy on all projects. This role will take responsibility for planning and co-ordinating day to day operations of a dedicated project or project region, support other planning coordinators from time to time, development of work-packs, and ensure the necessary equipment is available for project execution. A key part of this role is the ability to work to very tight deadlines and having a sharp eye for detail. You will need to be comfortable maintaining a fluid plan and be able to clearly communicate progress to key stakeholders. There may be a requirement for weekend working in line with business/client demands (typically 1 Saturday per month). Key Accountabilities: The Planning Co-ordinator role will be responsible for: Planning and co-ordination: Developing strategies and establish a course of action to accomplish project(s) objectives Developing weekly and daily project schedules, work plans, resources requirements and projections Conducting and communicating risk assessments and preparing and reviewing contingency plans for problems that might occur Overseeing and guiding others towards project goals Continuously prioritising daily operations to accommodate changes in overall project, resource availability and environmental factors Safety Promote safety culture through well thought out project plans Maintain general oversight of operations and planning with safety standards and environmental impact as the highest priorities Identify safety and wellbeing improvements and implement agreed changes to improve operating and safety procedures Contribute to safety improvement plans to mitigate project identified risks Leadership & People Together with HR/Training identify competence and training requirements for Field teams Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Reporting, Systems and processes: Analyse operations data to produce daily plan, identifying inaccuracies and reconciliations Deliver daily Operations reports to support timely activity reports and invoicing. Review field team reports to identify deviations from plan and implement work-arounds and solutions Ensure field data is accurate to support efficient and safe day-to-day operations Identify improvements to systems and processes to improve operational efficiency Able to communicate clearly with field teams to achieve continuous improvement of identified focus areas. Qualifications, Experience, Competencies: Qualifications Project Management qualification desirable. Knowledge & Skills Experience in planning a flexible remote workforce, multi-site and remote working Able to communicate in a clear concise manner (Up and Down the line) Understanding or interest in GIS systems Experience conducting complex field related Risk & Method Statements (RAMS – Risk Assessments) Intermediate to Advanced Database/Excel Data skills Experience in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint Knowledge of drones and/or utility networks would be an advantage Other Ability to travel and work additional hours to accommodate key project deliverables when required Knowledge of FAA regulations or the aviation industry would be useful
