Job Title: Proposal Manager (offshore wind)

Currently, they are seeking a Proposal Manager with a technical background to support wind energy projects in the European region.
Work Location: Europe (UK, France, Spain, Germany)
Job Responsibilities:
* Proposal Development and Management: Lead the development and management of proposals for wind energy projects in the European region, collaborating with internal departments such as business, solutions, logistics, and procurement to ensure proposals meet specific customer requirements and expectations.
* Technical and Commercial Coordination: Gather and integrate technical information, specifications, and design details into proposals, develop competitive pricing strategies, financial models, and commercial terms, and produce comprehensive wind energy project proposals.
* Supplier Development and Procurement: Assist the procurement department in maintaining supplier relationships, ensure the accuracy of tender documents and bids, ensure favorable contract and technical terms, and complete supplier technical concept reviews.
* Project Logistics Management: Understand the available logistics and crane equipment for onshore and offshore wind industries in various European countries, and collaborate with the technical team to develop budget-efficient solutions.
* Contract and Delivery: Assist in wind energy contract negotiations and hand over project management solutions to the delivery team after contract signing.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, technology, or related fields, with preference for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or wind energy engineering.
* Experience: Over 5 years of experience in proposal management in the wind energy or related fields, with a technical background preferred.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with wind energy technology, project development processes, and industry standards, ability to assess technical solutions, understanding of regulations and policies in the wind energy industry, and knowledge of environmental impact assessment methods for wind energy projects.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to evaluate complex project requirements and propose innovative solutions to address challenges in proposal development.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English, and proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
