Description Closing Date: 05/11/2024 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £8,177 Hours: 15 Hours Cleaning – Dunblane Primary Schools An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a Cleaning assistant in support of Dunblane Primary School. The successful candidate will deliver a cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the Primary School community on a 15 hours per week 39 weeks per year permanent contract. Hours of work will be 3.30pm – 6.30pm daily Mon - Fri and paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
