Community and Partnerships Leader | Merton Music Foundation
Merton Music Foundation is recruiting for two key roles, with flexibility to tailor responsibilities and full-time equivalence to suit the right candidates:
✦ Ensembles & Tuition Leader – Lead our ensembles, inspire creativity, and deliver high-quality tuition to our talented young musicians.
✦ Community & Partnerships Leader – Strengthen our community through partnerships, drive fundraising efforts, and help us expand our reach.
Both roles offer flexibility to adjust responsibilities and working hours, ensuring the right fit for the successful candidates.
You will be a capable musician and creative individual who is a passionate advocate for every child’s right to access high quality musical experiences. We are ideally looking for someone with experience of fundraising and/or working with young people in youth, community or school settings. You will be confident in articulating your message to a range of audiences, including via formal funding applications, and able to develop strong professional relationships with individuals and organisations locally. You will need strong IT skills and the ability to utilise social media and website content management to reach a wide audience. This middle leadership role requires working independently and part of a wider team, planning strategically and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure projects are seen through to their conclusion.
