Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Reports To: Outsourced HR Director
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join the JMAC Group. This autonomous role will work across the entire group structure allowing for scalability of this role and the HR function as a whole.

We work in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, distribution, hire & sales and offer a range of multi discipline services to various sectors.
You will be employed by – JMAC Hire & Sales (Employer). However, as part of your employment you are required to work within a Group Role whereby you will be working for all Group Entities namely, JMAC Contracting Services, JMAC Scaffolding, JMAC Industrial Services, JMAC Hire & Sales, and JMAC Asset Integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Continuously review and improve policies, procedures, and practices.
* Management of HR function and team.
* Assist the HR Director in structuring the HR Department to meet business objectives.
* Advising the senior leadership team and heads of department on company policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice.
* Final review of employment contracts for new and existing staff.
* Maintain and optimise HR system utilisation.
* Oversee all employee relations matters providing proactive and reactive support in any given situation.
* Support the HR Director on recruitment and selection.
* Lead on talent development including internal training and performance management.
* Support first line managers on attendance management via effective reporting and monitoring tools. Develop and implement strategies which aim to keep business disruption to a minimum.
* Work collaboratively with HSEQ manager to ensure high standards of Health and Safety.
* Lead on reward and recognition strategy and implementation across the group in order to foster a workforce culture of psychological safety and motivation.
* Support delivery of strategic objectives set by HR Director.
* Support in the delivery and implementation of any HR projects.

* Emotionally intelligent harnessing the ability to accurately identify and respond to emotionally charged situations.
* Willingness and ambition to progress within the HR function.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role with a demonstrable track record of positively impacting company culture.
* Experience of managing a small HR function is essential.
* CIPD level 5 qualified desirable.
* Experience within the construction industry, specifically operating with NJC and NAECI, is desirable.

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
