An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning and Scheduling Team Leader to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team at Brookside Group Practice.
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team at Brookside Group Practice. The successful candidate will have a post-graduate degree or comparable experience, a good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and at least 1 year of experience working in an office setting. The successful candidate will work as part of the team, managing key tasks including:
1. Advanced planning for the entire clinical timetable for the year in detail so that adequate locum provision can be sought/arranged for difficult weeks in a cost-effective manner.
2. Implementing the agreed schedules and managing those who provide support for this role.
Please note this position is for a 07:45 am start, 5 days a week.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of a team for the daily oversight, general direction, and development to ensure that all clinician timetables are fit for purpose, current, and up to date. To look at, understand, and liaise projected cover and timetabling needs for the future. To implement the agreed schedules and manage those who provide support for this role.
The successful candidate will also be the line manager for the Scheduling Administrator and will be responsible for managing sickness cover.

Qualifications
* Post-graduate degree or comparable experience
* Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Four GCSEs (C and above) or equivalent
* Previous experience of working in an administrative office
Experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other IT skills acquired through training.
* At least 1 year of practical experience working in a fast-paced administrative office.
