ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Quantity Surveyor for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Control all expenditure
2. Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
3. On-boarding of sub contractors/suppliers
4. Ensuring value for money & financial assessments
5. Manage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting
6. Process sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoice
7. Attend project & company related meetings
8. Ensure timely cash flow management
9. Maintain & develop professional relationships with clients & customers
10. Guidance development of junior members in the team
Quantity Surveyor Essential Experience:
11. Degree or other technical qualification
12. Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
13. Strong commercial awareness
14. Experience in SORS and reactive repairs.
15. Contractual awareness
16. Negotiating, communication & presentation skills
17. Knowledge of Supply Chain management
18. NHF schedule of rates experience and property services contracts for local authorities and RSL’s.
19. Able to work on their own (although they will be managed and meeting with Managing Surveyor Weekly once they are set up and familiar with the role)
