The salary scale for this role is £24,872 - £43,440 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience. The Lecturer-Health & Social Care role: As part of our Health, Social Care and Science Team you will use your experience and skills to teach and assess young people and adults, on one or more of the courses delivered. Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer-Health & Social Care: Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsbilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector Our ideal Lecturer-Health & Social Care should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Hold a Level 5 teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors OR Have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course you will be delivering, and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme OR Have significant Health & Social Care industry experience, be qualified to level 3 in the subject and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
