Leader Group is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a client for a Deputy Manager position at a 3-bed EBD children's home in South London. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a leadership role and make a real impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
* Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
* Leading and motivating the staff team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
* Supporting staff development and ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a children's residential care setting, ideally with EBD.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
* A relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
* Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and care standards.
