We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team as a Gardener - Manual Labour. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our various outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for landscaping and horticulture, along with the physical capability to perform demanding manual labor tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the upkeep of gardens, parks, and other landscaped areas, ensuring that plants, flowers, and trees are healthy and thriving. The work will involve a variety of outdoor tasks such as planting, weeding, mulch application, and seasonal clean-up activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining gardening tools and equipment in good condition, identifying plant diseases, and taking appropriate actions to ensure longevity and health. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of skilled gardeners and landscapers, contributing to projects that enhance the aesthetic appeal of our community. This position requires working in various weather conditions, so being adaptable and resilient is essential. Responsibilities
Plant new flowers, shrubs, and trees according to seasonal requirements
Weed, prune, and shape plants to encourage healthy growth
Mow, edge, and maintain lawns to ensure a neat appearance
Apply fertilizers and pest control measures as needed to protect plants
Conduct regular inspections of gardens to identify any issues such as diseases or pest infestations
Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order
Requirements
Proven experience in gardening or landscaping work
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects
Knowledge of plant identification, care, and maintenance techniques
Familiarity with the use of gardening tools and equipment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing quality work
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adjust to seasonal tasks
A UK Driving Licence is a must!

Pay Per Annum: £13.69
