Key Responsibilities: Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Linux, Unix, and VMware environments under the guidance of senior consultants. Provide basic troubleshooting and support for Linux/Unix servers and VMware virtualized platforms. Help with system installations, updates, and general administration tasks. Work alongside experienced consultants to learn about best practices for securing, managing, and optimizing systems. Support the documentation of technical processes, configurations, and solutions. Participate in client meetings and assist in understanding their technical needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integrations. Assist in performing audits of systems and infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards. Key Skills and Experience: DV Clearance: Must hold valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. Basic experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) or Unix (AIX, Solaris) systems. Some familiarity with VMware technologies, such as vSphere, ESXi, or vCenter. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and a desire to build technical expertise. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a team. A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges. Desired Qualifications: A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Any relevant certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Linux LPIC) are a plus but not essential. Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python) is a bonus but not required.
