Responsible for coordinating and assisting Nursing Administration with various tasks. Maintains data collection, tracks, and audits various data.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Compile and maintain data collection for various reports in Inpatient Assessment Center (IAC) and the Inpatient Nursing Departments as assigned by CNO, ACNOs, or their designees.
2. Assist in tracking staff absences and tardiness for worker’s compensation, FMLA, and long-term illness. Counsel staff regarding LOA process and keep appropriate documentation.
3. Oversee staff completion of mandatory trainings (including CBLs) and manage updated staff licenses/records in IAC.
4. Assist with payroll in IAC, identify discrepancies, and make the necessary adjustments to payroll in a timely manner.
5. Notify IAC providers regarding missed billings to ensure all services are properly billed and follow up with providers regarding missing documentation.
6. Organize and distribute weekend/holiday administrative coverage for IAC.
7. Organize and distribute staff holiday coverage schedules for IAC.
8. Review, manage, and distribute daily IAC department and Nursing reports.
9. Review department tracking reports for IAC and inpatient units, including check sheets and environmental safety check sheets, and notify Department Manager of discrepancies.
10. Perform other auditing tasks as requested for Inpatient Nursing units as assigned.
11. Document and distribute meeting minutes.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
High School diploma with some college courses required and Associates Degree preferred. Must be able to work with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Experience working with various computer applications. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
