Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrician to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrician who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrician, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrician will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out the duties expected of a Technician.
2. Taking the lead in specific jobs and directing other crafts persons, technicians or contractors who may be in assistance.
3. Investigating, diagnosing and rectifying faults to a proven level of competency.
4. Carrying out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
5. Checking, testing, setting and adjusting electrical and mechanical equipment to the levels of their proven competence.
6. Operating and monitoring plant items and services and maintaining such systems including the addition of chemicals and lubricants in accordance with current COSHH regulations.
7. Recording in writing or by the use of computers, various information such as work done, time taken, material used etc., in the appropriate SAP system or asset history file in accordance with GxP record retention where required.
8. Maintaining GxP standards with regards to cleanliness in work areas and of plant and equipment where required.
9. Carrying out various tasks on BMS to their personal competency.
10. Being involved in special project teams which could involve cross site working and assisting with other areas where required.
11. Liaising with and assisting the Engineering team in the generation and reviewing of assets/PPM's and prioritising day to day work, i.e. PPM's and SSR's to ensure compliance with SOP's and SLA's.
12. Completing Electrical Distribution Board Testing and Inspections and Building Electrical repairs.
13. Completing and closing all EWP's relating to any electrical activities.
To be successful for this Electrician role, you must have:
1. BS7671 Electrical Regulations
2. Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme
3. Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract
4. IOSH Working safely
5. Customer care/relationship building skills
6. Able to complete & produce RAMs
7. Computer literate - competent in Microsoft Office and ability to work on CAFM systems.
8. Knowledge of working on BMS systems.
9. City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering - 2382 10 or equivalent.
10. PASMA Mobile Tower & Scaffold.
