What’s the OpportunityYou will work as part of a national digital engineering team within a fully multidisciplinary consultancy. This is a unique opportunity to work and learn from colleagues with experience from all parts of our industry and varied digital skills. In this role you will work on development of Ridge’s digital tools and processes within the BIM space. Your day to day will include, chairing groups, pushing innovation, creating digital content like Revit Families and Templates, providing training sessions. What you need to do to be effective in this role• Setting up Revit projects to align with the project standards• Set-up, implementation, and administration of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)• Chair Project set-up / BIM Kick-off Meetings• Chair or participate in Ridge knowledge-sharing groups• Test new software applications and report on the usefulness for the Design discipline(s).• Work directly with Design teams on projects to assist with complex modelling tasks or workflow setup• Be the go-to person in the office for Revit and BIM queries• Help new starters by leading the Digital Induction process• Report to the Digital Engineering Team; any findings or improvements that can be made • Assist project teams to coordinate their models with the other Ridge Disciplines• QA/QC check models before issuing to the CDE• Promote the use and continuous development of BIM Processes and workflows• Collect and report Lessons Learnt on BIM projects• Create content for Revit including Families and Templates• Produce ‘Wiki’ guidance pages to capture best practice processes• Deliver training on Revit, ACC and the BIM Process• Undertake strategic projects that increases the capability or improves the efficiency of Ridge teams. • Assist in the ISO 19650 annual audit The skills and experience you need to have for this role• Experience using and managing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)• Experience using Autodesk Revit• Understanding of the BIM process (ISO 19650)• Knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous: NBS Chorus AutoCAD Experience in delivering COBie both via IFC and the BIM Interoperability Tools COBie tool Rhino/Grasshopper Sustainability tools such as OneClickLCA Dashboards and Powerbi Industry experience, ideally within a consultancy/private sector practice • A degree in Architecture or architectural technology-based qualification• Worked on a multitude of projects throughout the RIBA Stages 3 to Stage 5,• Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills both verbal and written,• Strong attention to detail,• Ability to work on multiple projects and stay organised,• Worked on a multitude of different project sectors such as Educational, Healthcare, Industrial, Residential, and Commercial, which would be advantageous,• Interest in software applications and how best to use them
