Job summary Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transitional Care Support Worker to join our team at King's Mill Hospital. In this role, you will contribute to the optimum delivery of care by providing efficient and effective support services to neonates and premature babies, their families, and carers. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with a multi-professional team to ensure the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities: Assist "well neonates" and their families under the direction and supervision of qualified staff Observe the babies' conditions and report any changes immediately to the Registered Nurse. Assist in parent education prior to discharg Support qualified healthcare professionals in minor procedures and the preparation of babies for diagnostic tests. Assist in clinical tasks related to infant feedin Collaborate with the infant feeding coordinator and colleagues to promote breastfeeding and assist mothers with breastfeeding.
