A growing practice in Winchester now has a Part II Architectural Assistant job available! With several long-term projects underway, they are looking to add an Experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to the team. Role & Responsibilities
1. To work on bespoke, high-end residential and heritage projects
2. Projects are varied and these will include historical buildings, High end residential, large country estates, grade-listed buildings, and more
3. Working across all RIBA stages with an initial focus on stage 4 through to completion
4. Speaking with and dealing with clients, including site visits and surveys
5. Carry out project research
6. Report to the Project Architects on project progress
7. Produce detailed hand drawings
8. Produce high-quality design and technical drawings, with detailed joinery fittings in a traditional style.
Required Skills & Experience
9. Experience in bespoke detailing on traditional, high end or classical projects
10. Must be Part II qualified and have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience PQE
11. Experience in stage 4 onwards would be essential
12. Must have relevant UK project experience
13. Passion for classical and traditional architecture
14. Strong flair for design and strong technical knowledge and skills
15. Experience in the preservation and refurbishment of historic buildings
16. Experience using ArchiCAD would be beneficial but not essential, full training will be provided.
