About the role…
Are you passionate about supporting people in their recovery? Do you have transferable skills and/or experience to empower people to achieve their full potential?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Recovery Navigator to join our highly motivated and committed Integrated Recovery team who support individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues to make positive life choices and make a real difference to our clients, their families, and the wider community including promoting engagement with mental health services.
Our teams provide support for individuals who are experiencing problematic substance use and our new recovery coordination role will ensure that we are able to provide specialist, tailored support to enable service users to make positive changes and give us the knowledge and resources to be able to reach and engage people with a range of needs within our communities.
The successful candidate will work within a supportive team with regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and joint working. The team consists of Recovery Navigators, counselling team, psychologists, and team manager.
* You will be acting as both supporter and facilitator, for those in structured treatment wanting to make positive changes that help them achieve treatment goals.
* You will be responsible for recovery-focused assessment, recovery planning, and risk management in addition to the delivery of appropriate personalized interventions at all stages of treatment. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach, ensuring that every service user's package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, not just their substance use, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every individual.
* You will work flexibly coordinating care within a multi-disciplinary team and with a range of partner agencies to ensure our clients receive safe and effective treatment.
Please note, a driving license is required.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a later shift on Thursday 11am-7pm.
