Regional Sales Manager
The Role: You will be responsible for full P&L on your area in the Midlands & North with this autonomous Regional Sales Manager position. The role will see you selling a leading range of power tools, CNC machines, cutting tools, and accessories used within manufacturing processes for metal, wood, and plastics working - mostly with fabrication businesses who may be manufacturing windows, doors, kitchens etc. These are all sold 100% through distribution and merchant accounts to both national and independent accounts. They have recently become an associate member of the NMBS and as such you will be targeting their membership to set up new distribution accounts.
The geographical remit for the role covers their 'central north' territory which stretches as far North as far as Lancashire and Yorkshire, West as far as Chester and Shropshire, East as far as East Midlands, South down towards Worcestershire and the area cuts off at the Northants border.
The Regional Sales Manager will be supported by in-house marketing teams who have been making real pushes on their social channels, improving their brand within the merchant networks, and providing materials which will help you gain more market share across the area.
The Company: This business are a long-established manufacturer of quality tooling products. They have recently re-shaped their sales team in order to provide career progression routes for people internally, but also to ensure their national & key accounts get the correct service levels. In addition, they have invested heavily in marketing personnel and systems to support their sales team's efforts and market penetration. This is a business who are going places.

The Package for the Regional Sales Manager:
£38k - 44k basic salary DOE + double OTE, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 28 after 5 years service), company car, healthcare & dental, laptop, mobile, pension scheme.
