The Role You will be responsible for actively identifying new business opportunities through strong client relationship management. You will work closely with our Head of Sales, and Senior Client Account Manager, to grow existing clients through effective account management, understanding our client needs and matching these to our portfolio of consultancy and digital solutions. Key responsibilities include: Deliver growth in the sales pipeline in consultancy service, digital solutions and blended approach - via new sales, and account management to up-sell and cross-sell grow average consulting proposal value, through the identification of new client targets in specified industries. Implement clear strategic client pursuit plans via consultative selling techniques to lead proposals from initial enquiry through to on-boarding new business supporting growth target. Leverage your industry contacts, sales insight tools, our existing clients and newly generated leads via marketing activities to drive engagement and new business revenue. Successfully convert and maximize new pipeline opportunities across both incoming and outgoing opportunities, tenders, and proposal construction and negotiation. Key account management - supporting and expanding our top client relationships by focusing and identifying client needs and providing a first-class customer-centric service. Ensure that our CRM (HubSpot) is updated every week and the forecast section is data accurate with projects clearly identified. Essential experience to be successful in this role: Demonstrable ability to deliver and exceed significant sales target revenues both individually and through a team. Experience of consultative selling, bid and proposal management, ideally within business consultancies from plan to close. Demonstrable experience in proactive account management. Strong influencing ability across all levels of an organisation. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services as a combined offering, and position products against competitors. Experience of working collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently. Good IT skills, ideally Microsoft packages including Powerpoint and Excel. Strong communication skills particularly excellent listening, skilled negotiation and presentation skills. Actively expanding professional network. A passion for furthering the DEI agenda. Desirable experience Knowledge of balancing digital SaaS or digital product sales within consulting services – possibly via experience within digital or solutions consultancy Ability to structure and manage cross-enterprise sales projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
