Do you have knowledge and experience of developing technical interdisciplinary teams? Do you also have experience in planning, implementation and management of complex software/web projects?
Our new site based in Wellingborough is looking for an IT Project Manager. This role will work with a team of IT professionals cultivating a supportive environment whilst providing good advice, guidance and training to their team.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
* IT project management of complex international software projects
* Support of the entire project life cycle from cost estimation to operation
* Development and creation of the project scope and detailed project plan whilst ensuring feasibility together with technical experts and business departments
* Planning, monitoring and reporting of the entire project lifecycle (resources, budget, scope, schedules and milestones)
* Manage all project stakeholders including internal and external customers, suppliers and developers
* Perform risk management, evaluate and initiate measures to minimize risks
* Ensure that all team members have a clear understanding of the project's current status, work cohesively towards the same objectives, and collectively drive the project to success
* Creation, maintenance and monitoring of comprehensive project documentation
* Organisation, implementation and moderation of kick-off sessions, meetings and workshops
You must have practical knowledge of managing budgets and a technical background with hands-on experience in web technologies. Having certifications and/or experience in Scrum (Scrum Master, Product Owner), IPMA, PMI, Prince2, Design Thinking is key to this role.
* Familiarity with integrating web applications with SAP is advantageous
* Conceptual and analytical thinking skills, assertiveness and very good understanding of processes
* Strong communication skills, problem solving and presentation skills
* High sense of quality and responsibility as well as independent thinking and acting
