Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students in line with the national curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
* Develop and implement lesson plans, utilising a range of teaching strategies and resources.
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development and well-being of students.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
* Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
* Support the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection.
* Stay updated with the latest educational practises and developments in primary teaching.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience of working in a UK primary school
* The ability to motivate and engage students
* The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and students
* The ability to keep students focused and motivated
* A drive for educating and bettering students for their own development
Education:
* A relevant degree in Education or a related field
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and primary teaching methods
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
* Organisational and time management skills
* Adaptability and flexibility in responding to the needs of individual students
Working Conditions:
The primary teacher will work in a school environment, primarily within the classroom setting. The role may involve working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. The teacher will follow the school's academic calendar and work full-time hours on a temporary basis. Occasional attendance at staff meetings and professional development activities may be required outside of regular school hours.
