Description Bardwell Church of England Primary School - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP31 1AD £11.59 per hour, £22,366 per annum (pro rata) Up to 8 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time, plus PD days) Permanent Reference: 6467 Your role Bardwell Church of England Primary School is seeking a proactive and motivated Administration Assistant to work with the Office Manager and wider team to use our administrative and financial systems, enabling the school to deliver and sustain educational excellence. The role is part time and available for up to 8 hours per week, preferably worked over two mornings from 8.30 am - 12.30 pm. The hours are negotiable for you as the right candidate, but will not be less than 6 hours per week. Your responsibilities You will act as the school’s central point of communication and information by working with the Office Manager to maintain and operate an efficient and welcoming school office. You will operate the school’s administrative systems to provide the best possible support service to teaching staff, pupils, parents/carers and the wider school community. You will need: English and Mathematics at GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent) experience of working with the public and responding well to deadlines and competing priorities a strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
