The role
As part of the ADP team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a chosen sector or as an all-rounder, working with our cross-practice specialists in sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and education design. You’ll be able to work on projects that truly benefit their communities, from large educational buildings to mixed-use commercial developments, sensitive refurbishments to envelope-pushing new builds, £100m high-profile schemes to local grassroots community projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with the technical design elements of projects. Producing effective, coordinated, efficient and compliant technical design solutions that are delivered to the standards we aspire to and achieve our shared SBE vision.
2. Obtaining and maintaining detailed knowledge of current legislation, regulations and standards.
3. Obtaining and maintaining detailed knowledge of modern methods of construction.
4. Ensuring that all work is prepared in accordance with the practice’s BIM standards and protocols and maintaining a detailed knowledge of BIM processes and software associated with design.
5. Ensuring that the service is delivered in accordance with the quality management system.
The role will be mainly studio-based with some flexibility for ad-hoc home working. Unfortunately, we are not able to support candidates who require a visa to work in the UK.
