We are currently recruiting to an Accounts Officer role in our Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Service. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
1. GCSE Maths and English
2. Additional education to level 2
3. A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a housing finance environment
4. Flexibility, reliability and able to work in an agile environment
5. Experienced in reconciliation and analysing data
6. Knowledge of leaseholder and Right to Buy legislation
7. Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets
8. Attention to detail and accuracy
9. Be organised and meet strict deadlines
10. Experience of electronic management systems for example in housing, finance and/or corporate management systems
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The council operates hybrid working. This involves working from an agreed workplace location in the borough for at least two days a week.
