We are looking for a Comms and Social Media volunteer to support all things communications. You could write news articles for the website, go along to activities to take photos and talk to attendees, and so much more. Get in touch for an information chat. The purpose of this role is to support us in promoting and publicising Age UK Bristol and the work we do. We need to communicate and inform older people about the services we provide, and we also need to communicate what we do for fundraising, volunteer participation, and communication with our partner agencies.
You will work closely with the Communications and Fundraising Manager.
The role involves:
* Sourcing, editing and inputting content for our social media accounts. Age UK Bristol has Facebook (including a group), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
* Creating graphics on Canva for social media and for our website.
* Writing content for the Age UK Bristol website.
* Updating promotional materials for services such as posters and flyers.
* Sourcing, editing and inputting content for quarterly supporters e-newsletter aimed at people over 50.
* Support the Comms and Fundraising Manager with other projects as required.
