Seeking a creative Bid Manager to produce high quality, innovative and successful bids.
This leading, locally based Contractor, operating within public and private sectors constructing some of the region's most innovative and landmark buildings, is looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced Bid Manager. Able to provide a range of services to their clients and enjoying high levels of repeat business, they are well respected and operate across the region with the support of a highly experienced, vibrant and committed team.
The Job
In this important, varied and challenging role, you will be responsible for producing accurate, specific and professional responses for construction related pre-qualification, framework and tender submissions. Liaising and interacting with the clients, pre-construction and project teams, you will research and understand the nature of the contracts and projects the company is involved with and delivering, in order to continuously improve bid submissions, presentations and client interviews. Working to tight deadlines, the role will require a high level of accuracy, innovation and creative input.
The Person
Applications are sought from highly motivated individuals with a proven track record in a tender writing and bid co-ordinating/management role. Ideally, candidates should have some knowledge or understanding of the construction industry although not essential. Highly organised and IT literate, you should be competent and creative with a range of software knowledge such as Indesign or Canva. Applicants should have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to produce creative, informative and well presented pre quals, tender and framework submissions.
