We are currently recruiting experienced Social Workers for vacancies across all teams within our service. This opportunity is open exclusively to internal applicants. We have varying hours available at different locations.
About the Role:
We work with families in the community, delivering interventions through child in need plans and child protection plans, extending to court work and care proceedings. Our teams collaborate closely with partner agencies and family support workers to provide holistic interventions to children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Building relationships with children, young people, and families.
2. Assessing the needs of children, young people, and families.
3. Co-developing plans with families and partner agencies.
4. Providing intervention and support to children, young people, and families in the community.
Team Structure:
You will be part of a small team that includes social workers, advanced social work practitioners, newly qualified social workers, and students, with dedicated admin support to undertake service-specific tasks. The roles report directly to the Team Manager. We offer blended working opportunities and provide agile working kits to allow work to be completed in council offices or from home.
Ideal Candidate:
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has completed their ASYE and has worked as a Social Worker and is interested in working with children, young people, and families. If you are looking to progress to the next stage of your social work career, this is the role for you.
