About the role
We are looking for a Maths teacher to impart their knowledge and help schools in the Calne, North Wiltshire area. You will be teaching Maths up to GCSE and working proactively with other members of the department. This is a full time position (Mon-Fri).
What the client is looking for
The schools that we are acting on behalf of are looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must have at least 1 year experience working in secondary schools in the UK, ideally having a QTS, ECT's are welcome to apply. The school have said they would consider a candidate that is unqualified but can demonstrate strong UK curriculum and planning experience.
A successful candidate is someone with strong subject knowledge and a teacher that is a breath of fresh air. Someone who can engage their students in their learning but also push them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom. The school is a large secondary school so they are looking for someone who is able to juggle and adapting to an ever changing school environment and work quickly and efficiently.
