Controls & Emergency Systems Manager - Lighting.
Working for a global provider of lighting solutions, who operate in 50 countries around the World,this role is responsible for developing and managing all lighting controls and emergency lighting system opportunities from initial enquiry to hand over, ensuring that the projects meet the required customer specification. With the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays with 3 days in the office working alongside the wider team.
Reporting to the Product & Marketing Director, you will work closely with the Sales team to manage and co-ordinate the engineering aspect of the projects, including design, installation & commissioning plan to ensure that the project produces the required customers specification / requirements.
As the Controls & Emergency Systems Manager for this leader in lighting technology, you will lead the delivery of wired & wireless lighting control & emergency systems, ensuring seamless integration with other building systems to meet the project & customers needs. You will also liase with the project order management team to ensure customers orders are processed and managed efficiently to ensure product availability to meet the customers requirements
Additionaly, there will be a need to collaborate with suppliers to refine & expand the product range whilst ensuring product compliance to adhere to relevant standards and regulations.
Experience & Skills required to meet the role requirements:
* 5 years experience in the lighting / electrical sector including experience and knowledge of lighting management systems.
* Excellent understanding of lighting solutions, electrical installations and regulations
* Understanding of technical lighting design, product application capabilities including lighting instruments, software & lighting theory.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
