Senior Commercial Gas Engineer/ Mech Engineer £57/60k
My Client are a leading Mechanical/Energy engineering company, established for 15 years, employing over 70 staff.
The Senior Commercial Heat Network Engineer will support the installation, maintenance, and effective operation of heat network equipment (Boilers, Chillers, Fan coil units, HIU's, Valves) across their client portfolio within London and the home counties.
This role also involves supporting the development and growth of a team of Commercial Heat Network Engineers, working with the Head of Maintenance to provide technical support.
The role is a support function to our Maintenance team and Client Services, which is vital to maintaining Insite's great reputation for customer service & quality and delivering our ambitious growth plans.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications - COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, CCN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 (Minimum six months remaining prior to renewal of certification, preferred).
2. Experience and knowledge of heating control systems.
3. Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
5. Experience of writing reports and completing job cards to a high standard.
6. Experience of building services engineering within district and community heating, or large scale plant rooms/energy centres.
7. Experience of working within a service industry.
8. Understanding of communal/district heating schemes.
Package:
1. £55,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
