The Client -
We're working with a Global Real Estate Firm as they look to expand their National Property Management Division. Due to growth in their Property Management Division, they're looking for four individuals across this team!
The Role -
As a Property Manager, you will be assisting in the management of a large, diverse geographical portfolio for a large government client. The role will see you provide occupier clients with full property management services, collaborating with other skill lines across the Group.
Responsibilities -
1. To ensure cost effective operational running of client portfolio/region.
2. Liaison with clients and 3rd parties i.e. landlords and their agents to ensure uninterrupted use of the client's premises, effectively acting as the intermediary between landlord and tenant.
3. Identify and drive through cost savings for corporate occupiers.
4. For sublet properties, monitor income collection and tenant liaison.
5. Manage exit strategies for freehold and leasehold properties being vacated.
6. Provide reasoned strategic advice to clients on lease events where required.
7. Ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements (to include inspections where required) and advising clients of same.
8. Manage and liaise with other teams and other professionals to provide a full service to the client.
9. Direct and frequent client contact and reporting.
Experience Required -
1. 12 months relevant property experience.
2. Up to date knowledge of legislation regarding property management.
3. Demonstrable technical competence in property management.
4. Basic IT skills (word-processing and spreadsheets).
5. Property management / general practice background for or within either a corporate, public sector or private practice.
6. Working knowledge of industry specific packages preferred (e.g. TRAMPS/PM&A).
