Description JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) Global Technology (GT) is engaged in a global uplift of our technological capabilities and our local technology centers play a critical role in that transformation. The local Tech Center leadership provides direct and indirect support of the GT transformation activities and we are seeking a candidate whose technical fluency will enable them to strategically support their local teams in project execution. GT strategy execution includes educational activities, modernization and innovation support, professional development initiatives, and focuses on building and enhancing our technologist communities to support the transition back to the office. In this role you will support complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for employees and stakeholders across the globe. The Program Associate position involves a significant amount of interaction with all levels of technologists on tasks in support of local programming. You will help local colleagues in the development and execution of projects and programs in your assigned Tech Center. You will support your local Tech Center manager and members of the local Tech Center community to set goals, manage a budget, foster collaborate, and promote the values, culture and brand of JPMC. Key Responsibilities Join the local Technology Center Leadership team and assist in delivery and execution of firmwide programs, and assist in the development of local strategies to support the technology teams. Assist the Tech Center Manager in the preparation and planning of Tech Center program and leadership meetings. Create presentations for leadership in collaboration with the Tech Center Manager and Tech Center Lead. Presentations cover a variety of topics including pitching new programs, program status, and general leadership updates. Collaborate with the Tech Center Manager and Tech Center Lead to identify new opportunities in support of the Tech Center strategy based on ongoing evaluation of key, location-based, metrics. Support the Tech Center’s workstream leads and members in their initiatives and program delivery planning (i.e. conference center scheduling, swag ordering, status reporting). Workstreams include: learning, lateral and campus recruiting, mobility, technology modernization, innovation, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Partner with the workstream leads and members to create various communications for local initiatives, programs, and events. Maintain the local Tech Center calendar and advise on event sequencing to avoid overlap. Communicate issues and conflicts, investigate options for resolution, and provide implementation support. Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts for local events, initiatives, and programs. Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution Ability to understand different program management standards and methods across global and line of business specific projects and technologies High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple parallel workstream Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies Self-starter with initiative, accountability and ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team Excellent reporting skills and presentation preparation skills for Senior Management Proficiency MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio & MS Project skills with working knowledge of SharePoint Experience working with high-performing teams in complex technology program execution The hiring manager for this job opening would welcome a conversation about flexible working.
