Procurement Manager required for an established organisation, paying an annual salary of 50,000 - 60,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
If a candidate is available immediately, the role may start on a temp-to-perm basis.
Candidates applying must have previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
Duties:
Procurement planning:
* Forecast levels of demand, price trends, and budgets
* Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers for best value delivery and quality
Procurement management:
* Manage procurement operations
* Negotiate and agree contracts, monitor quality
* Maintain supplier relationships
* Attend overseas supplier meetings and trade conferences

Experience required:
* Previous procurement experience in a management role
* CIPS qualified preferred
* Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
* PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
