Job summary We are currently looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic and motivated qualified nurses to join the Treatment Room Nursing Team to cover all areas within the Wigan, Ashton and Leigh locality. Community experience desired but not essential as full training will be given. We offer an excellent preceptorship programme supported by our education department. We also promote and support professional development with many training opportunities available. The successful candidates must be able to travel independently across Trust. The post is community based and post holders must be able to attend multiple appointments punctually every day whilst transporting all required equipment. Appropriate vehicle insurance will be required. We have 1 permanent full time post (37.5 hours) and 1 permanent part time post (30 hours) working across a 7 day week. Main duties of the job The primary function of the role is to work independently within the Treatment Room service by undertaking responsibility for clinic patients in a designated treatment room. The post holder will ideally have had previous extensive district nursing experience as the role involves lone working. You will have a variety of clinical skills and be able to demonstrate continued professional development. You will have highly developed communication and personal skills.
