This Sales Leader position will focus on new product and professional services sales, closing deals for achieving our annual goals. You’ll be supported by our team of experts, who will be on hand to provide targeted demos, procurement project insights and product knowledge.

Business Development – navigate commercial operations/structures in large organisations and identify new leads and nurture existing contacts. Using market information and networking to inform your approach. Strategic Direction – Managing key sales strategies in line with the company’s strategic direction to grow business in this sector, and to actively seek intelligence to inform the businesses strategic plans and to devise experiments that will drive opportunities
Closing – generate new orders from new names in the identified market for both SaaS and professional services, to meet or exceed the sales targets
Promotion – of Commerce Decisions through marketing activity, such as trade shows, customer site visits, webinars, workshops and through social media activity, aligned to our market messaging. Collaboration – with our wider teams/experts in sales, marketing, professional services, customer success, R&D and finance to ensure that each opportunity receives the appropriate attention and care, that market intelligence is shared, and to ensure effective transition from pre- to post-sales project phases, including alignment of customer payment obligations
Reporting – regular reporting and record keeping on sales forecast both on bookings and on revenue, strategic direction and experiments within sales, the senior leadership team and in corporate forums
be able to demonstrate strong new business sales results within the SaaS and professional services sector,
be a self-starter who is self-motivated, flexible, and shows initiative,
have good Excel and CRM System capability.
Experience selling software and/or professional services
Knowledge of procurement software applications and marketplace
Some awareness of UK Government Procurement Legislation – PCR, DSPCR, PA23 or the Competitive Tendering procedures and processes
Experience of working with and managing partnership arrangements to facilitate sales
