Hybrid Working Competitive Salary Client Payroll Setting JOB TITLE: Payroll Supervisor SALARY: Up to £42,000 HOURS: Full Time - Permanent STRUCTURE: Office based for 3 months, then hybrid 2 days from home LOCATION: Cambridgeshire JGA are working with a growing business who are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their team.Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing payroll, employment, and other inquiries, and resolving client issues promptly Possessing in-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll matters, including current legislation Regularly conducting compliance checks Processing starters, leavers, holiday pay, pension deductions, and statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SAP, SSP, etc.) Issuing P45s, P60s, and other necessary documents Communicating with HMRC in writing and over the phone Calculating tax and NIC contributions Managing auto-enrolment, maintaining pension scheme records, schedules, and payments Submitting RTI filings and CIS returns Setting up and closing PAYE schemes Keeping accurate and organized records Ensuring accurate time recording on timesheets Skills required : End to end Payroll experience CIPP qualification desirable Strong experience with payroll systems (Sage / Xero is a plus). Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Good knowledge of Auto Enrolment Pensions Excel competency (Pivot & VLOOKUP).
