To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a dedicated Sales Training and Coaching Specialist who can impart sales technical ability and industry-specific product knowledge while mentoring and supporting sales agents.
Please note that the Sales Trainer and Coaching Specialist role is fully onsite-based in Blackpool, UK.
Job Purpose & Summary
Are you an experienced Sales trainer with a passion for equipping sales agents with the skills they need to excel in their sales targets? Emerchantpay is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for inducting new candidates who may have little or no experience, turning them into Lead Generation experts, and enhancing existing sales agents’ abilities to exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that cover industry-specific knowledge, product information, mindset, resilience, and tonality.
* Collaborate with sales leaders to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
* Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to enhance the skills and performance of sales agents.
* Monitor and assess the progress of sales agents, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices to continually enhance training content.
* Work closely with sales management to align training initiatives with business objectives and sales targets.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a sales trainer, preferably in a B2B sales environment.
* Strong background in telesales, including cold calling and lead generation.
* Expertise in B2B sales, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
* Familiarity with payment services, such as terminals, eCommerce solutions, e-wallets, and related technologies, is a plus but not mandatory.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
* A passion for driving sales performance and personal growth.
* Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Resilience and the ability to instill a positive approach to handling rejection.
* Strong time management skills to balance training responsibilities effectively.
* A talent for identifying and addressing customer pain points with tailored solutions.
* A team player mentality, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and relevant tools.
* Commitment to ethical conduct in all training activities and adherence to industry regulations.
* A strong drive to achieve and exceed training objectives and a dedication to continuous improvement.
* A genuine passion for equipping sales agents with the skills and mindset to succeed.
