About the role In this role you will work as a Product Owner for JulesSmart product line. Jules offers PaaS and SaaS solutions for the UK and European Energy markets. Jules's web-based software is user friendly, innovative, and unique in the UK and European energy markets. As a key member of our UK team, you will serve as the vital link between stakeholders (customers, business teams, and the development team), ensuring that the product delivers value and meets both business objectives and customer needs. Your role will involve setting the product vision, creating, and prioritizing the product backlog, and working closely with the development team to deliver high-quality solutions. Furthermore, you'll work on: Drive Sprint Planning: Coordinate and lead sprint planning to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of client requests and internal requirements alongside the engineering teams. Reporting: Provide regular, precise reports to the Product Manager, providing performance metrics to identify and address areas for improvement, highlight product costings. Monitor product performance through KPIs to monitor for improvements. Handle Change Requests: Document client change requests with precision, guiding them through the change request process and collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to offer a solution to client needs, whilst maintaining the integrity of the Jules Product. Manage Quotation Processes: Oversee the preparation of client quotes, ensuring projects stay within budget and align with client expectations. Coordinate Releases and Testing: Work alongside the Compliance officer to plan and monitor product releases and testing, creation of test scripts and acceptance testing to ensure new functionality is correctly tested. And ensuring timelines and expectations are clearly communicated to internal stakeholders and clients. About you The Jules team is small and its success springs from their harmonious and dedicated collaboration. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Product Owner who enjoys close knit and cross functional collaboration to make things happen. Furthermore, you have: Proven experience as a Product Owner and strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Your experience includes creating and prioritizing product backlogs and writing detailed user stories. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams internally and externally, being able to apply this in a small, close team. Proactive mindset: Making things happen, looking for solutions right away instead of waiting for direction. Approaching a problem by doing something about it before it becomes an issue. Ownership: Taking full responsibility for individual owned or shared tasks or projects, including own development. Intrinsic drive to take responsibility for delivery of results. Planning & organization skills: You can effectively manage your time, set priorities.
