The Role
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone to join the Commercial Team as a Product Manager.
You will work with Tier 1 organisations with recognisable household brand names. Their cutting-edge innovations and creativity shape and drive the future of global technology.
Based onsite in our modern offices located behind Glasgow airport with easy access to the main transport links.
Occasional international travel to customers and exhibitions. Full passport and driving licence are essential.
Customer facing role: in person, on the phone, email and global social networks.
Full product and company training will be provided.

oMonday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00

Your responsibilities
•Become a Product champion, and provide key product advice for all customers and channels globally
•Oversee and develop the complete product lifecycle road map
•Working with colleagues and customers to help to identify market and product opportunities, and use such to improve existing products and shape new products
•Define business cases for new products and product modifications
•Work with the key stakeholders to define the Product Specification documentation
•Lead the product training program for peers and customers
•Provide post-sales technical support
•Feed into the R&D team and Production to develop and refine products
•Feed into the sales team on customer feedback and product requirements
•Be part of the Product Launch Team
•Attend global exhibitions and support the technical aspects thereof
•Play an active role in resolving product issues
•Contribute to the business planning process
Essential Skills and Experience
•2+ years working in a product management or technically focussed commercial role
•HND / Degree in an Engineering or Stem subject
•Or equivalent qualifications / experience
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, customers and colleagues
•Robust communication skills with the ability to impart technical knowledge in an easily understood format

•1st Stage - Short 10 – 15 minute Telephone Interview with our Talent Team
•2nd Stage - Short 15 – 20 minute Teams Interview with the Recruiting Manager
•3rd Stage - 3 Thomas international online assessments
•4th Stage - Invite to Teknek for a Panel Interview
oThis will include the candidate offering a short 10 minute presentation.
