The Role Technical Leadership - Define and enforce coding standards, security, performance, and scalability within a .NET & Azure environment. Software Architecture - Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Security & DevSecOps - Embed security into the development lifecycle, ensuring secure coding practices, compliance, and vulnerability management. CI/CD & Automation - Optimise build, test, and deployment pipelines to drive automation, efficiency, and reliability. Mentorship & Code Quality - Provide technical guidance to developers through code reviews, coaching, and hands-on development when needed. Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with product teams, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality, well-tested software solutions. Technology Evaluation - Stay ahead of emerging technologies and ensure the adoption of modern development tools and frameworks. About You You're a great fit if you have: Proven experience in a technical leadership role within a .NET & Azure environment. Strong .NET development skills, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture. Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure DevOps, App Services, Functions, and Kubernetes (AKS). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools. Deep understanding of secure coding principles, DevSecOps, and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability and performance. Experience mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation. Bonus Skills (Desirable, but not essential) Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or Angular. Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
