Main Areas of Responsibility: We are looking for a Behaviour Support Officer to support our students at Harris Lowe Academy Willesden.
Qualifications & Experience: We would like to hear from you if you have:
1. GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent
2. Knowledge of behaviour for learning policies
3. Knowledge of the range of barriers to learning that students face
4. Training in child protection and safeguarding procedures
5. Basic knowledge of first aid e.g. emergency first aid course
6. Two years' experience of working in an inner city school or educational establishment
7. Experience of dealing successfully with a range of behaviour issues
8. Experience of working with staff to ensure excellent behaviour for learning
9. Experience of working with families
10. Experience of supervising a group of students for detentions, referral and internal exclusion as appropriate
11. Experience of working with challenging students and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfully
