Job Description
A Housing Solicitor is required to join a reputable Law Firm in London on a full-time permanent basis. This is an opportunity for a Housing Solicitor to become part of the Housing Legal Aid team at an established law firm that upholds its reputation for providing exceptional service to its clientele.
Title: Housing Solicitor
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time permanent
Location: Kensington, London
Key Responsibilities of the Housing Solicitor:
* Provide a quality, tailored, and supportive legal service to a wide range of clients
* Manage a complex mixed caseload of client matters with limited supervision
* Undertake casework (Possession, Disrepair and Unlawful Eviction, Homelessness, Injuction/Committal Proceedings and leadholder disputes)
* Time recording & managing files
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Housing Solicitor:
* Experienced Solicitor or Caseworker with experience in dealing with all Housing related casework
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems
* Ability to work with vulnerable clients with empathy and compassion
